| Italpresse has been in the die-casting industry from 1969, its development mirroring that of the industry as a whole, and of Italy: from a craft industry to a business with strong export vocation based on technological innovation. Despite its growth, Italpresse has always kept close contacts with its customers, and this relationship is characterised by good personal relations, continuous contacts and industrial planning based on the needs of individuals. Italpresse has been active in the Asian market since the beginning of the eighties. Through a team of highly motivated experts, the company achieved market leadership in the nineties with an extensive sales network able to provide spare parts and after-sales back-up, including maintenance and repair. Italpresse has always considered the training of technicians very important, above all customer technicians who run the machine who are invited to Brescia to learn about all aspects of the technology they supervise. In Shenzhen the customer service facility is manned by three specialist engineers able to supply the right spaer parts, and by expert technicians able to maintain machinery. The center runs training courses in maintenance. An office in a modern high-rise in Shanghai co-ordinates sales in the Far East. Hundreds of machines have been installed in China and Taiwan, all in strategically important sectors with high technological content (automotive, household appliances, motor cycles, electronics, computer, telecommunications, etc.). In the South-east Asia region Italpresse is present not only in China and Taiwan but has also supplied many automatic work stations to multinationals such as Daewoo, Hyundai and Kia Motors, all with large capacities, and mainly for engine blocks. |
